Sarah’s first novel, CHINA WHITE, a finalist in the 2018 HarperCollins Best New Fiction Prize, was published as an Audible Original (2021), available in both French and English. The sequel BORN WINNERS will be published in early 2023.

Her short stories, reviews, and interviews have appeared in carte blanche, prism international, The Puritan, Rusty Toque, Room Magazine,The Cardiff Review, The Danforth Review, Eclectica, Fox Adoption, and UNBUILD walls, and she has published non-fiction work with Lonely Planet and BBC.com, among others.

Sarah has a BA from McGill University and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia (2017).

After two decades of living elsewhere — New York City, Montreal, Toronto, Osaka, Tokyo, and London, UK  — she has returned home to live on the West Coast, where she teaches Creative Writing and Communications at Langara College in Vancouver.
